here's one jacyn and a few others were talking about over e-mail, and it is the jet ski/roman fry situation.
First office, let me preface this by saying it is definitely a tragedy and this is not trying to lessen the impact and personnel tragedy of what has happened. This is more a comment on the state paper and the way the universities are covered:
I think that if this was USC student athletes and coaches, the paper would have already printed stories regarding:
whose jet skis were they?
how did the players get to the lake?
who paid for the gas in the jet skis?
isn't the owner of the jet skis providing entertainment to the football players?
is the owner a booster or friend of the program?
they would have interviewed everyone who was anywhere near, and found
someone that would have said that they saw one of them stumbling around, as
if drunk, or that they saw them with a beer in hand.
I am sorry, but when you go hang out at the lake, you drink beer, and if
this was USC players it would be a state-wide scandal.
I agree. Hopefully, all the details will come out. Maybe they are just giving the tragedy time to blow over before this comes out.
I jsut emailed Paul Strelow at The State paper and posed those questions to him. I will lete you know when/if he responds.
Well, I know the girl that dates mr fry, she is a good friend from my high school years and i have no knowledge that they were drinking but knowing her they probably were and if you look at the article in the state paper yesterday they were coming back from a party. hmmmm coming back from a party that was on a lake but no drinking, just doesnt add up. like jamie said i feel awful for the family and roman i just get pissed off bc nothing more will come of this just like barry humphries, a graduate from my high school, gets a dui and nothing comes about that for two and a half weeks after it happens. sorry for the run on sentences and punctiation, i was typing this fast.
Tony is reporting that T.R. isnt going to visit Clemson now, is this what you are hearing also?

I heard that Travian had a great conversation with our coaches last night. As of today, it looks like Travian will not make any other visits.
