do you have any idea what is up with Joel Reeves? He is not shown on the roster.

I'm sure it was an oversight by USC sports. Reaves will likely be a career 3rd team player.

CF,
In your article you stated that (as it stands today) it looks like the best we can hope for is a split between TR and Cliff. At this time which recruit do you think we have a better chance at landing? Which is more important to our class?
thanks

Enjoy this site. Great job Cockfather. It is critical that we get one of the two DE's you mentioned. I think we need to sign 3 DE's and two DT's. Does that sound about right. Also, who do you think is at top of our board at LB. I don't think we would take over two, but I have no clue who we really want at LB. Thanks.

Cockfather, I appreciate you having this blog.

Has SOS been aware of Cooper's laziness as far as staying in touch with Gray? I have always felt he was our weak link, both in recruiting & coaching. I believe he has a major chip on his shoulder from already being a HC, then fired in such a short time.

First, I think that Travian Robertson is THE most critical recruit in this class. He will enroll in January and start from day one. Add to that the fact if you lose him, he plays for Clemson, your arch rival that you are trying to catch up to talent wise.
I think USC has a much better chance at landing a commitment from Robertson as things stand today.

I think that USC could sign as many as 6-7 DL's if they can get the right players. 6-7 would be 4 DE's and 3 DT's. If they sign 6 I think it will be 3 and 3.

I would like to think that the OBC has been made aware of the way things are with COoper. I'm sure he will be after the situation that has unfolded today.

As far as LB's go, it is not a huge need in this class. I think USC will sign 1-2 LB's, and I would say that Brian Rolle and John Frink are at the top of the board.
