We are trying to confirm whether or not LB Brent Davis will be returning to the team. The red-shirt freshman was in attendance at last night's practice. However, the word we got on his visit was that he wanted to tell coach Spurrier face to face that he was leaving the team for good.
Immediately after practice, he was greeted by Tray Rogers and many of his teammates. Reportedly, Davis met with defensive coordinator Ty Nix after practice and asked for the chance to return to the team. So, did Davis have a change of heart?
