yeah, my initial thought is I like the old look much better. the contrast between background and letters makes it harder to read, I think. Now, more color is great....but what about doing the boxes with the text in them the old way, but just have the background of the entires site garnet? who knows...this may grow on me anyway.
I love the thought of the garnet background. It has a snazier look. But it was harder to read. And since blogs are mostly for reading...I think it's better with the white background. Thanks CF...awesome blog!
CF, I must say that I am again very impressed with Smelley both on and off the field (composure during interviews, etc.). He seems like a very confident young guy, as well as being at ease with microphones and cameras in his face. Both of which are attributes of a great leader.
I am wondering, looking at HIS FIRST TWO COLLEGIATE SCRIMMAGES, he is 20-33 for 350 yards or so, 5 TDs and ZERO INTs. In Spurrier's offense. Man, I am laughing at Bama right now.
I mean, I laugh at taters and idiots who are always screaming about how the backup is better than the starter, and why aren't we playing him, yadayada...but this might be for real...what do you think? I have been impressed with Blake too, and at practice Blake still looked noticably better...but I don't remember a freshman at Carolina having the command that Smelley does. Do you think it likely that he overtakes Blake this season? I think by the end of the year, he may not overtake him, but he may be able to play some snaps with little to no drop-off from Blake to Smelley. This would enable us to pull Blake when he is having a bad game...because if he is like last year, once he starts to have a bad game, he kinda struggles mentally the entire game.

The monkeys were definitely NOT cool. It was a statement that those who support USC, our players, and our coaches through good and bad, are nothing more that blind monkeys. It is a very derogatory statement aimed at the "sunshine pumpers", of which I am proud to call myself.
There is something funny about the monkeys. No doubt about it. I laugh uncontrollably every time I look at the picture.
However, Cockfather Illustrated does not want to offend anyone here. I want this to be a place where all gamecock fans can share their opinions without being slammed ar ripped.

Smelley is special. There is no doubt about it. Alabama made a catastrophic mistake by passing on Smelley and waiting on Teebow.
